KINDNESS Hebrews 13:1-9 Devotional:- “Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels” (v.2) NKJV The season we are in is a season of strangers, and close friends will come to locate you. You will find many in need of your assistance. God’s words teach us to be of assistance to such people. Even though we live in a very dangerous and delicate world, where so many unbelievable atrocities have been committed. Yet it does not mean we should completely neglect the instruction of this part of the scripture. We only need to obey God with wisdom. We are not to turn people away sharply; we only need to learn to discern what kind of people are coming around us. We also need to be wise not to disclose or open our hidden places to strangers. But I need to let you know that God honour those who honour strangers. If you read the bible, you will discover God has a special interest in widows, orphans and strangers. SOLOMON

SOLOMON

2 Chronicles 9:13-28
Devotional: - “And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.” (v.23)

Reading through the achievements of King Solomon today, we find the catalogue of his greatness. This is a man who love and serve the Lord like you and me (1 kings 3:3). By the reason of the wisdom of God in his life, he became the wisest in his time and all king seek for his counsel.

The source of all these great achievements is the wisdom of God. The life of King Solomon proves the reality of divine wisdom. He asked God for wisdom and it was given to him (1 kings 3:3-12). We can see the manifestation of his wisdom in the word of God.

Friend, Jesus said, He is greater than Solomon (Matt 12:42). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom (Isaiah 11:1-3). The Holy Spirit is in you, so don't stay in impossibility for life. All you need is the wisdom of separating yourself prayerfully to ask for light (Proverbs 18:1 KJV). We must learn to use our mind even as we pray. There is a way out, please, understand that your mind is equally important as your spirit and your time to think as important as your time of prayer (Ephesians 3:20, Proverbs 4:23). Greatness is already in the package for your redemption (Revelation 5:9-10). You will succeed in Jesus Name. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be awake in the use of my mind.
