JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

SOLOMON

SOLOMON

2 Chronicles 9:13-28
Devotional: - “And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.” (v.23)

Reading through the achievements of King Solomon today, we find the catalogue of his greatness. This is a man who love and serve the Lord like you and me (1 kings 3:3). By the reason of the wisdom of God in his life, he became the wisest in his time and all king seek for his counsel.

The source of all these great achievements is the wisdom of God. The life of King Solomon proves the reality of divine wisdom. He asked God for wisdom and it was given to him (1 kings 3:3-12). We can see the manifestation of his wisdom in the word of God.

Friend, Jesus said, He is greater than Solomon (Matt 12:42). The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom (Isaiah 11:1-3). The Holy Spirit is in you, so don't stay in impossibility for life. All you need is the wisdom of separating yourself prayerfully to ask for light (Proverbs 18:1 KJV). We must learn to use our mind even as we pray. There is a way out, please, understand that your mind is equally important as your spirit and your time to think as important as your time of prayer (Ephesians 3:20, Proverbs 4:23). Greatness is already in the package for your redemption (Revelation 5:9-10). You will succeed in Jesus Name. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to be awake in the use of my mind.

"THE HOLY SPIRIT HAS GIVEN US THE MIND OF CHRIST TO REIGN"
