STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

THE MIND OF CHRIST

THE MIND OF CHRIST

1 CORINTHIANS 2:6-16
Devotional:-“For "who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.” (v.16)

The mind of Christ is a mind that has been regenerated by the blood and the word of Christ (Heb. 9:13-14; 2 Cor. 5:17). When we give our life to Christ, repent of our sins and confess Jesus as our Lord and saviour, then the Holy Spirit takes over our spirit man (1 Corinthians 12:3). This is when the mind becomes a Spirit-controlled mind.

God's word says, a carnal mind or religious mind cannot receive the truth of the word of God, because they are foolishness to Him (1 Cor. 2:14) but a mind of Christ is able to access the revelation of the word of God by the Holy Spirit in him. These are believers who can access and release new ideas that will cause a positive change in their character (1 Cor. 2:9-10). This mind is always motivated and creative to excel. It is a mind controlled by the Holy Spirit.

Friends, there are things that eyes have not seen, nor hears heard, nor have entered into the thought of men that God wants to unfold through you as a citizen of His kingdom. Every mind is influenced by the spirit in them (Job 32:8) That is why, by the help of the Holy Spirit you should not be helpless. A major assignment of the Holy Spirit is to make you a wonder to your generation through your thinking. This, you will step into as you regularly fellowship with the Holy Spirit in worship and worship. Your fellowship becomes strong with the Holy Spirit as you meditate in the word of God (Psalm 119:97-109; Joshua 1:8). You should always separate yourself for a time to receive instruction from God for divine wisdom (Matt 7:24). Then you will be operating the mind of Christ. Peace!

PRAYER:  Lord, give me a thirst to fellowship with you

"THE MIND OF CHRIST WILL ALWAYS OPERATE THE WISDOM FROM ABOVE"
