  OBEDIENCE Acts 13:42-52 Devotional:- “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” (v.52) NKJV A great instrument that can sustain joy in the life of God’s children is obedience. When a man disobey God, the enemy just strategically makes him lose his right decision. The devil has just made him follow a wrong path and shunned his part in God’s help and provision. So he cannot help but experience sorrow and regret at last. Many don’t just know why they have sorrow. They do not know that they are created by God for God (Isaiah 43:21). So when man disobeys, it is life out of course (Psalms 82:5). The disciples were led by the Holy Spirit to send Paul and Barnabas on an assignment for God (Acts 13:1-3). But as they went on their journey for God’s assignment, they were confronted with persecution by the Jews. Yet, they had great joy. UNDERSTANDING   

Ephesians 1:15-23
Devotional: -“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,” (v.18)


    As much as knowledge is so important, it make us to know and be aware of a fact, yet it will not profit us until there is understanding. It is understanding that unfolds the way of knowledge. This is because knowledge as a revelation of a fact only show to our mind a reality of what is possible or what has been done. But it takes understanding to know how it was done. 

Apostle Paul prayed in our scripture for today that the eyes of our understanding may be enlightened. We have this great advantage as citizens of the kingdom of God that the Holy Spirit gives us quick understanding (Isaiah 11:3). So, by the help of the Holy Spirit, understanding opens to us the depth of knowledge. 

One get understanding when knowledge is processed with commitment. You process knowledge when you are asking question about the information. What does this wisdom profit me? How can I get this benefit? What price do I need to pay to get these benefits? As you ask yourself these questions, the spirit of God through your mind will supply the answers. Everyone knows what the Bible say about healing or prosperity, but your understanding of it determines your level of result in this area. Receive understanding in Jesus Name. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, help me to start walking in the way of understanding.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
