  SUBMIT TO HIM John 14:12-24  “Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (V. 23) NKJV   Sometimes on the platform of love, there is nothing men cannot offer to one another. If you truly love a man you will not want to reject or disobey him. You will want to do as much as it is in your capacity. You will not want to turn him down. Can you imagine how strictly you want to keep to an appointment with a loved one? If we have attached so much importance to responding to our lover, how much more God. If you truly love God it will be natural for you to submit to His will. You will not need to argue or ask too many questions. It will be a pleasure submitting to His will. Jesus said in the scripture we read today, if anyone loves me he will keep my words. In other word he will submit or obey my word. UNDERSTANDING   

Ephesians 1:15-23
Devotional: -“The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,” (v.18)


    As much as knowledge is so important, it make us to know and be aware of a fact, yet it will not profit us until there is understanding. It is understanding that unfolds the way of knowledge. This is because knowledge as a revelation of a fact only show to our mind a reality of what is possible or what has been done. But it takes understanding to know how it was done. 

Apostle Paul prayed in our scripture for today that the eyes of our understanding may be enlightened. We have this great advantage as citizens of the kingdom of God that the Holy Spirit gives us quick understanding (Isaiah 11:3). So, by the help of the Holy Spirit, understanding opens to us the depth of knowledge. 

One get understanding when knowledge is processed with commitment. You process knowledge when you are asking question about the information. What does this wisdom profit me? How can I get this benefit? What price do I need to pay to get these benefits? As you ask yourself these questions, the spirit of God through your mind will supply the answers. Everyone knows what the Bible say about healing or prosperity, but your understanding of it determines your level of result in this area. Receive understanding in Jesus Name. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, help me to start walking in the way of understanding.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
