  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

THE PRINCIPAL THING  

Proverbs 4: 1-9
Devotional:-"Wisdom is the principal thing: therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding" (v.7)

God's ways are sure way to get result in life, but not many knows the way, that is why many so called Christians today lives in frustration. The major thing that is missing is wisdom. Most people in this part of the world allow religion to take them away from wisdom. Many can pray so well without using their mind. This is one of the greatest challenge in our Christian journey in this part of the world. 

The word of God which is the book of wisdom says that “wisdom is principal thing”. Another version says “wisdom is the wisest thing you can get”. The reason it is the wisest thing to get is because, without it many things cannot be achieved. Even when we pray, it is by wisdom that the answers will be accessed. That is why a life without wisdom will be full of confusion and stagnation. 

Friend, whatever it will cost you to get wisdom, please get it. Wisdom is not been cunning or crafty as some supposed, it is rather the operation of hindsight for insight, it is the ability to turn knowledge to practical action for practical result. Wisdom actions are sincerity in doing what is needed to make an occasion work out successfully. Without wisdom, knowledge is ineffective. Seek it with all your heart and you will find it. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom for good result in life. 

"UNTIL WISDOM COME, NO ONE WILL TRULY SUCCEED

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
