  UNDERSTANDING YOUR SHAPE Jeremiah 1:4-12 Devotional:- “I knew you before I formed you in your mother's womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” (V.5 NLT) As a people crated to serve the Lord, God has design each of us in a unique way to be able to serve Him. We are so uniquely created that no one can find your duplicate. If you don’t contribute your part to the body of Christ God will make a replacement. (Act 1:20).  Look at the meaning of your shape the letter “A” represents your SPECIAL ABILITY. These are special abilities and talents given to you from birth. It is important we come to know that all our special abilities come from God.(Rom 12:6 ). So many people often give excuses of not having any ability to serve God but research shows that each of us has variety of 500 to 700 abilities. QUALITY DECISION    

1 KING 3:16-28
Devotional:-“So the king answered and said, "Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother."” (v.27)

   One of the characteristics of a man with divine wisdom is quality decision. Divine wisdom operates with the help of the Holy Spirit through the insight of the Holy Spirit. The truth about life is that, our decision determines our result. Our decisions in life are what cumulate to determine our destination. 

In the scripture we read today is the experience of king Solomon with two women fighting over the dead and the living child. It was really a complex and a confusing experience, but by the help of the wisdom of God, Solomon discerns the intent and the attitude of each of the women and identifies the owner of the baby (1 Cor. 12:10). No right-thinking woman, not even animal will want to watch her child killed.

Friend, this is a manifestation of the help of the Holy Spirit in the life of Solomon. That time, the spirit comes and goes but now He is living in us. That is why you and I should pray for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in our lives (1 Cor 12:31). For decision making, we need the operation of the gift of discernment, we need the gift of insight, we need the opening of inner ears to hear God as we acknowledge Him when it is demanded of us to give an answer (Prov. 15:28; Col 4:6). Peace.

PRAYER:  Lord, teach me to always take quality decision.

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
