  GREATEST FATHER John 20:11-18 “Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.” (V.17) NKJV   Though there is a great number of males in the world today, there are few true fathers. Men who can be referred to as good fathers are rare. This is the reason for the breeding of terrible children in today's homes. Many children don’t even know what it is to have a father. That is why when God is referred to as our father, it does not interest some of us in any form. We only look at Him as one of those absentee fathers in the world. In the scripture we read today, Jesus died and resurrected again and purchased us back to God by His blood. The first person He met after His resurrection was Mary Magdalene. QUALITY DECISION    

1 KING 3:16-28
Devotional:-“So the king answered and said, "Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother."” (v.27)

   One of the characteristics of a man with divine wisdom is quality decision. Divine wisdom operates with the help of the Holy Spirit through the insight of the Holy Spirit. The truth about life is that, our decision determines our result. Our decisions in life are what cumulate to determine our destination. 

In the scripture we read today is the experience of king Solomon with two women fighting over the dead and the living child. It was really a complex and a confusing experience, but by the help of the wisdom of God, Solomon discerns the intent and the attitude of each of the women and identifies the owner of the baby (1 Cor. 12:10). No right-thinking woman, not even animal will want to watch her child killed.

Friend, this is a manifestation of the help of the Holy Spirit in the life of Solomon. That time, the spirit comes and goes but now He is living in us. That is why you and I should pray for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in our lives (1 Cor 12:31). For decision making, we need the operation of the gift of discernment, we need the gift of insight, we need the opening of inner ears to hear God as we acknowledge Him when it is demanded of us to give an answer (Prov. 15:28; Col 4:6). Peace.

PRAYER:  Lord, teach me to always take quality decision.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
