DEFINE PLEASURE  Proverbs 21:12-21 Devotional:- “He who loves pleasure will be a poor man; He who loves wine and oil will not be rich.” (v. 17) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional DEFINE PLEASURE Support Us Proverbs 21:12-21 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com There is nothing wrong with pleasure, but there is a need to define what it means in a way that it will not bring destruction to you. Pleasure to most people means idleness, sleeping, jesting, watching T.V and all sorts of films, extravagant spending at beer parlous and hotels, eating in all the city kitchens and to some it is just travelling all around. The truth is that none of those things are real pleasure. If those things are what you call pleasures, then, no matter how much you have now, poverty and sorrow are on the way. QUALITY DECISION

QUALITY DECISION

1 KING 3:16-28
Devotional:-“So the king answered and said, "Give the first woman the living child, and by no means kill him; she is his mother."” (v.27)

One of the characteristics of a man with divine wisdom is quality decision. Divine wisdom operates with the help of the Holy Spirit through the insight of the Holy Spirit. The truth about life is that, our decision determines our result. Our decisions in life are what cumulate to determine our destination.

In the scripture we read today is the experience of king Solomon with two women fighting over the dead and the living child. It was really a complex and a confusing experience, but by the help of the wisdom of God, Solomon discerns the intent and the attitude of each of the women and identifies the owner of the baby (1 Cor. 12:10). No right-thinking woman, not even animal will want to watch her child killed.

Friend, this is a manifestation of the help of the Holy Spirit in the life of Solomon. That time, the spirit comes and goes but now He is living in us. That is why you and I should pray for the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in our lives (1 Cor 12:31). For decision making, we need the operation of the gift of discernment, we need the gift of insight, we need the opening of inner ears to hear God as we acknowledge Him when it is demanded of us to give an answer (Prov. 15:28; Col 4:6). Peace.

PRAYER:  Lord, teach me to always take quality decision.
