This is always the plan of the enemy. But I need to let you know that the moment you give up, you simply give up your destiny. Men may say so many things about you or let you feel you are doing nothing when you are putting in your best. Yet you must refuse to be discouraged.   David was a man who had cause to be discouraged in life, but he always refused. One such account is what we read tod...

THINKING

THINKING

Philippians 4:2-9
Devotional:- “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.” (v. 8)

Thinking is part of the assignment God has given to man to exercise in. He has given us a mind that can think. So, as a man, we are a thinking machine. A major reason we are better than the animal is that our thinking is higher than theirs. Nothing can be made happen good or bad without thinking. Men who don't think don't rise. Sometimes, we think in split of second and sometimes we need a quality time.

Thinking is an act of engaging your mind to reason, analyze, calculate or organize your plans into action. How intelligent a man will be in thinking is determined by the quality of information he has given himself to. That makes knowledge seeking so important. A great man will always give himself to thinking (Gen 24:63). Any time you observe an obstacle or a barrier on your way, all you need is thinking through the way out.

There are things that mere prayers will not do for you. After you have prayed, you need to allow the Holy Spirit to guide your heart to productive thinking.  Those who give themselves to prayers without engaging their mind will end up in frustration. There is a need for you to know that the two works together (Ephesians 3:20). Thinking without prayers will also have little result. When people lack knowledge, their thinking will be narrow. Learn to worship God and ask for the help of the Holy Spirit whenever you need a help. He will show you the way out. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to locate solutions to issues of life in thinking.

"ALLOWING THE HOLY SPIRIT TO GUIDE YOU TO THINKING WILL MAKE YOU A MAN OF GREAT ACHIEVEMENT"
