  BORN TO WIN 1 John 5:1-5 Devotional:- “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.” (V. 4) NKJV God is great, mighty and victorious. No one can challenge His power and authority. They’ve not given birth to the devil that can face God. He has on several occasions given the devil a public disgrace (Colossians 3:15). When God created man, He expected him to cheaply overcome the enemy. But the first man fell into the devil’s trick. Because God cannot fail, He did not create a second Adam but gave birth to Him. There is power in this. He discovered that the first Adam did not perfectly resemble Him in strength and power. So He decided to give birth to the second Adam, in the person of Jesus. So He is referred to as the firstborn among the living. God has not born anyone before Him. Whatever you give birth to will carry your strength. DOING HIS WILL   

Matthew 7: 24-29
Devotional:-“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:” (v. 24)


    The heart of man always wants to fathom his own way. That is why we need to mind the spirit that our heart submits to (Romans 6:16). A carnal mind does not think of submitting to God, the Bible says he cannot (Romans 8:5-7). As a child of God, when we live in the way of the word of God, we are walking in the wisdom of God and not of men.

 The scripture we read today says when we hear and obey the word of God, we are wise. We are wise because we will be building a life that cannot be destroyed by the mind and the storm of life. This is building on the wisdom of the ages that has pass through the test of time and keeps winning. That is why you must count the instructions of the word of God to be your wisdom (Deuteronomy 4:6). 

The word of God is our wisdom because God is wiser than us (Isaiah 55: 8-11). For example, it could look foolish to give a tenth of your income in church, but it is the wisdom of God because the word of God commanded it (Malachi 3:10-12). Those who obey the word of God knows what they gain from it. That makes some to even give 30% or more as tithe. So also is every instructions of the word of God (Prov 3: 5-6). Be wise to obey the Lord. The word is the law of the spirit and cannot be calculated by human mind. The devil or the flesh or worldly friends will never encourage you to do the will of God because they are not of God. God is superior to all and His word is superior. There are so many things we can't see or know. Be wise to always obey the Lord. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, help me to always submit to your word. 

"OBEYING GOD IS OPERATING IN A HIGHER WISDOM"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
