  FRIENDSHIP WITH GOD Romans 5:1-11 Devotional:- “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life” (V. 10)  As a kingdom citizen please known that God wants to be your best friend. This is because intimacy is part of your act of worship. It is true that God is our maker and redeemer yet he wants to be our friend. Remember we were made to live continually in God’s presence but it is sin that makes us loose that (Gen 3, Roman 3:23)  In our scripture for today we saw that it was grace through the sacrifice of the cross that gives us access to friendship with God (2 Corinthians 5:18). Our friendship with God does not mean casual acquaintance but close and trusted relationships just like the best man in a wedding. SUCCESS     

Ecclesiastes 10: 1-10
Devotional:-“If the ax is dull, And one does not sharpen the edge, Then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success.” (v. 10)


    One of the desires of every living being is success. Eagerness for success is wired in every man and woman. So, if God has made us to succeed and put the instinct of success in us, then He wants us to succeed. Since God want us to succeed, He must have put all it takes around us and especially in His word for our success. 

In the scripture we read today, the Bible says wisdom brings success. Everyone who walk wisely can always step into success. So, if a man wants a lasting success, then let him choose the part of wisdom. That is why we must not follow the popular way. That is why we must follow God to act in His wisdom. That is why we must choose godly wisdom and not worldly wisdom. That is why we must give ourselves to knowledge. Always separating ourselves to gain insight of knowledge till we are inspired to act in wisdom.

Wisdom may not look so burdensome to man, but its path led to the house of success. Wisdom way may not be friendly but will inherit success at the end. Embrace her ways and she will show you all the side of success. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me courage to walk in wisdom for my success.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
