  TIME OF CELEBRATION  2 Samuel 6:11-23 Devotional:- “Then David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod” (V. 14) NKJV As much as this season is tagged with much celebration, the enemy often tries to see how he could poison the joy of many people to remove them from the list of people who will celebrate. It will be wisdom for you to know that happiness and sorrow are a choice. I will advise you to choose to rejoice in hope and leave sorrow for the enemy (Romans 5:22). In the scripture we read today, David and all the people were in a mood of celebration because of the advent of the ark of the Lord. But a lady could not see what was worth celebrating, and she took offence at David’s elegant celebration. And she remains barren till her death. Friend, if the coming of the ark of the Lord is sufficient to lose celebration, how much more the coming of Christ, the Son of God. Don’t let the devil push you to sorrow corner in a time like this. WISDOM

WISDOM     

Luke 15: 11-24
Devotional: - "And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.” (v.20)


    Wisdom is a step forward from understanding. Wisdom comes naturally when a man is of understanding. Wisdom is defined to be wise actions for wise result. The reality of life is that, when you come across knowledge and you meditate through questions to get understanding of it, you will find yourself acting on it. The reasons you will act on it is that you are interested in the knowledge and that pushes you to dig deeper into understanding. 

The man we read about today was in a problem and because this problem was becoming painful, it got him thinking. Friend if you can think enough, wisdom will bring you to the solution of your situation. Knowledge told him, “But you have a father", understanding help him see how he can go back to the father. By wisdom, he took step. The result is the restoration testimony he had. 

The world is waiting for your rising, but, it will be by the wisdom of God. People rise when their light comes (Isaiah 60:1). If there will be no action added to your thinking, it means your understanding is not strong enough. God has given you the mind of Christ, so, you can solve any problem (1 Cor 2: 16). Joseph rose to rulership by wisdom of God. God knows you are capable of overcoming and that is the reason He allows the challenges on your ways (1 Corinthians 10:13). Arise and move forward in Jesus name. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, give me wisdom for my rising

"WISDOM IS THE SCORER OF THE GOALS OF LIFE"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.
