If not, you cannot successfully rule over anyone in this world. This is enough weapon in the hand of the enemy to keep disqualifying some people from getting to their place of destiny in life.   To rule yourself means to be the one in control of your life. If other people still have to control you before you do well, it means you are a slave in your mind. And that is not the will of God for you. JOY.

JOY.

Proverbs 3: 13-18
Devotional:-“Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;” (v.13)

One of the results of wisdom is joy. As short as these three letter words, as valuable as they are to all men on earth. The presence of joy is the evidence of the presence of God and all good things of life (Psalm 16:11). That is why wherever joy is, affliction is not commonly found in the place. Sorrow which is the opposite of joy is what breaks down anything but joy builds a life of goodness.

One of the virtues that produce joy is wisdom. The scripture we read today says happy is the man that found wisdom. This is because wisdom is strength to produce good result in life. So, when wisdom is found, joyful experience is inevitable. There is no one with good result that will not be joyful.

Friend, even though we are always tempted to play fast game, we should remain in the part of wisdom. This will give us result with peace of mind and joy in our heart. The Bible says, wisdom is more profitable than silver and gold. They come with the blessings of the Lord without sorrow (Proverbs 10:22) She offer long life, riches, honor and guide in the part of peace (Proverbs 3:15-17, Psalm 23:2). Some have traded their joy with foolishness, but be wise to abide in the wisdom of God and eternal joy will be your heritage. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to abide in your wisdom.
