  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

REPROBATE MIND

REPROBATE MIND    

Romans 1: 18-32
Devotional:-“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting;” (v.28)


    This is a mind that is sold out unto sin and ungodliness, this is a mind that is already possessed by the spirit of the devil, they can open their eyes and kill easily. This mind is sealed up and does not consider right things as an option. If he does it right, he is just pretending. He only rejoices in evil; this is because it is totally without God and he is fully connected by choice to the devil.

The word of God said they always refuse the knowledge of God (John 8:44). They have a spirit that makes them feel godliness is deception (Romans 1:25). They are connected to an ungodly fellowship and they worship the idol of money, they always have shameful desire. There is no place they cannot approach opposite sex for sex, as male they can have sex with male friend and vice versa (Romans 1:26-28). Such will only be very intelligent negatively and in carrying out evil agenda.  They always invent new kind of crime (Romans 1:30) Very heartless and promise breakers.

To be free from this, such character needs a man of God to lead them back to God and deliver them from such spirit, evil spirit must be cast out from them to be able to receive the Holy Spirit. Then, they can be working in the newness of live (2 Cor 5:17). Then a new live with God will connect with a right mind for a right life. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, help me to totally return to you.

"A DANGEROUS MIND AS A REPROBATE MIND IS POSSESSED BY EVIL"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
