  PARENT OF THE GREAT Exodus 2:1-10 Devotional:- “So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months..” (V. 2) NKJV. Anything you see that is great in life was incubated by some great people. If you can see anyone becoming great in life, you can easily trace the history back to the parents. I found something funny in this world: everyone wants their children to be great, but they don't bother to raise them for this purpose. People are wise enough to raise chickens for different purposes – some for laying eggs and some for consumption – but few are raising children with the purpose of leadership. We often expect the children to just grow and be great by luck or chance. If you observe great people in the Word of God, you can easily trace it back to their parents. This you can see in the lives of Isaiah, Joseph, David and others. I think it will be funny to sow maize and expect to reap yams. Moses, as we read today, was born...

ESTABLISHMENT   

Proverbs 24: 1-7
Devotional: -“Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established;” (v. 3)


    All men labour to establish the work of their hand. But not all labour is established. There are businesses that have stayed over hundred years. There are some that cannot even last 10 years. Establishment is not because of huge investment; it is by the wisdom of God. God is the one who can sustain anything forever. His ways are the ways of wisdom.

The scripture we read today says through wisdom is a house built and by understanding it is established. Your house and the work of your hand shall be established in Jesus name. If anyone is therefore building a lasting heritage, it must be built in wisdom. It must be built in the fear of God. It must be built in faithfulness to God. This is because He is the sustainer of all things. Give yourself to continue knowledge and you will increase in strength (Proverbs 24:5). 

Godly wisdom will always work and locate right team to support a good and godly venture. Godly wisdom will always lead in the path of righteousness and will always be friendly and faithful. That is why wisdom should be the foundation of all we are doing and by understanding you shall be established. God will establish a good home for you. He will establish the work of your hand in Jesus Name. Peace.

Prayer: Lord, establish my home and the work of my hand.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
