  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

PROTECTION    

Proverbs 2:10-22
Devotional:-“Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,” (v.11)


     Those who walk in wisdom will always enjoy divine protection. The wisdom of God is pure and peaceable (James 3: 17). So, God's wisdom does not need any evil deal with anyone. It is open and simple. The wisdom of God relates in faithfulness and integrity. It has no shady dealings. It does not deceive others because of gain and not greedy. (1 John 6: 6-10). 

That is why those who walk in the wisdom of God are delivered from evil ways. They are delivered from men of deception. Men of the dark world cannot over power them because they walk in the light of God (John 1: 5). Godly wisdom does not rejoice in doing evil. He does not delight in evil perversion. He does not walk with crooked people. The wisdom of God will deliver you from immoral women or men who seduce others to destroy them. Their path always leads to death. 

Friend, it is the sweetest thing to walk in wisdom of God. It will not only give you peace of mind but freedom and divine protection. The wicked may be destroying, but the righteous will be preserved because he fears the Lord. Peace. 

Prayer: Lord, preserve me and my family by your wisdom.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
