JOY

JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS

DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS

Judges 6:14-27
Devotional:- “Then the LORD turned to him and said, "Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?”” (V. 14) NKJV

Men often get energized by the Spirit of God when they hear an instruction from God. This is because the word of God is not mere word but carriers of His Spirit (John 6:63). Anytime the Spirit communicates to your mind, it becomes a strong force in your mind that will eventually energize you into action of faith (Ezekiel 2:2).

Knowing this gives you wisdom to always rekindle your strength anytime you look weak or down. That is the power of the word of God (Hebrews 4:12). This is the reason why a child of God should always acknowledge God in all situations (Proverbs 3:5-6). Asking Him for what to do will always give you access to divine instructions. Everyone you see standing strong in a calling are running with the energy that came into them when God called them.

To connect regularly with the energy of the Spirit through divine instructions, we must fear God (Psalms 25:9). We must not see our lives as ours (Psalms 24:1). We must see the wisdom in asking the Holy Spirit for what to do in everything (Proverbs 3:5-6). Then God will start to guide. In His grace is an energy that will not let you find it easy to refuse Him till you are lead to your profit (Isaiah 48:17-18). You will not fail again in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to always ask for your guide
