TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE

TRANSFORMED BY TROUBLE 2 Corinthians 4:7-18 Devotional:- “For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!” (V. 17) NLT  God has a purpose behind every problem. God depends more on circumstances to grow our character than reading the Bible; this is because we have challenging circumstances twenty four seven. The word of God made us to see challenges in our life as normal (1 Peter 4:18). Your deepest expression of worship is mostly in the darkest days. It is during suffering that we learn to pray our most authentic, heart-felt and honest prayers to God (James 5:16). God would have kept Jeremiah from the throne to the pit, Joseph from been thrown into the jail, Paul from been shipwrecked or the three Hebrew from been thrown into the fire but he left those problems to himself. You will never know that God is all you need until God is all you have.  Everything that happens to you has spir...

INSIGHT

INSIGHT

Ephesians 1:15-23
Devotional : -“the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints” (V. 18) NKJV

A medium through which God releases divine energy to people is by allowing the Holy Spirit to give them insight. When someone is given an insight, light of understanding will just be dawning on him. He/she will begin to see deeper than he used to see before on a given matter. He/she will begin to see his/her fault and areas of weaknesses. He/she will begin to see the secret to progress and success.

What creates the insight is when the Holy Spirit removes the coverage on the mind of a person. This coverage is often removed as we keep meditating on the word of God (2 Corinthians 3:18). This coverage is often created by worries, anxiety, fear and sorrow (Isaiah 12:3; Proverbs 15:13). Coverage of darkness often brings the live of people to a total halts. This is because lack of understanding makes life unfruitful (Matthew 12:13, Ephesians 5:11).

When you learn to appreciate God and always see His goodness over your life, your light shall suddenly come (Isaiah 12:3). When you give yourself to daily meditating in His word, veils of darkness will be removed from your mind and your light shall come (Isaiah 58:8). Then you will start to have insight into solution. It takes humility, joy of gratitude and daily meditation in the word of God to access insight. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, release the spirit of joy and gratitude into my heart
