DARLING OF GOD

DARLING OF GOD I John 4:11-21 Devotional:- “If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (V. 20) NKJV God has some darlings He loves in the world, and they also love Him. They seek Him, and He seeks them. They long for Him, and He longs for them. You will know such people by the way they relate to others. Today, most people think the measure for their love for God is by the number of chapters of the Bible they read daily, the number of hours and times they pray daily, the numerous assignments they do in the church or the number of posts they occupy in the church. All of these are good things to do for the Lord, but it is not a true measurement of our love for God. Most of these are what make us grow in Christ, but the fundamental measurement of our love for God is how much we love others (1 Corinthians 13:1-2). All other spiritual activities must be bo...

FELLOWSHIPPING WITH GOD

FELLOWSHIPPING WITH GOD

Exodus 34:23-33
Devotional:- “So he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments” (V. 28) NKJV

Every child of God who want to regularly enjoy the energy of the spirit must create time to be alone with God (Luke 5:16). This is actually the time the energy of the spirit is transmitted to us. This is because God speaks to us in such times (Ezekiel 2:2). Every time you spend personal time with God, you will always come back with a new level of strength.

Moses did not know that as God talked with him, something on God was already rubbing on him. Just like sun emits great light and we can feel the heat though very far to the earth, so also is God. Whenever you hang out with Him, you contact the energy of the Spirit. That is the secret of Moses speaking and all the children of Israel trembles. It is because He has been with the terrible God (Deuteronomy 7:21).

Friend, we have come to the time that you need more than your physical or mental energy to move on. We need the energy of the Spirit. That is why you need to always have a time with God. When His word comes to you, His energy to launch out will be deposited in you (Ezekiel 2:2). And you will succeed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always fellowship with you

“YOU ARE AS STRONG AS THE ONE YOU SPEND YOUR TIME WITH”
