  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). MEDITATION                

Psalms 119:97-104
Devotional:- “I have more understanding than all my teachers, For Your testimonies are my meditation” (V. 99) NKJV


   God has made us a being that can meditate. The challenge is that we meditate over different things. Some people meditate over problems but few meditate over solution. Meditation is like squeezing the Spirit of a matter into your spirit. Any matter you are meditating on will deposit its spirit in you. That way, you will contact the energy of the spirit to act accordingly (Joshua 1:8)
 
   There is a spirit of understanding (Isaiah 11:2). It is an arm of the Holy Spirit. People without understanding will struggle through life (Proverbs 21:16). This Spirit is one of the evidences of the energy of God at work in you for great achievements. This Spirit comes as we meditate on the word of God and ask for it in prayer. Stop meditating over your problems; it will multiply the spirit of troubles.
 
   Delight or love the word of God (Psalms 1:1-3). That is not religion. It is fellowshipping with Jesus who is the word of God (John 1:1). Don't play down on the word of God again. You don't need to study big volume per time (Joshua 1:8). Every time you are faced with a challenge, search out how God solved it for someone in the Bible. Then sit with that word and it will give you the energy for solution. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, strengthen me to always meditate on your word.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
