HELPING PEOPLE Genesis 14:8-16  Devotional:- “Now when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants who were born in his own house, and went in pursuit as far as Dan” (V.14) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional HELPINGPEOPLE Pastor Remi Agbabiaka  ·  Genesis 14:8-16 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com For everything a man will get in this world, he will have to sow seeds for it (Genesis 8:22). We have to come to full understanding that the principle of sowing and reaping is powerfully relevant to all situations. It will be foolish for anyone who has sown onion to begin to pray to reap yam. This is because the word of God stands sure. God will always respect His word (Galatians 6:7). Help is one of the virtues we will always need in our lives, but we must also learn to sow it. Abra...

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT

Scripture Reading: Jude 1:14-25
Devotional:- “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (V. 20) NKJV

For us as children of God, our God is the source of our strength. We do not depend on men, alcohol or drugs to make us strong (Ephesians 5:18). God always strengthened us by His Spirit through His word (Isaiah 40:28-31). Whenever we are faced with any challenge, we are to turn to God to strengthen us to overcome. Strength is the ability to carry out a given task.

For us to carry out our task on earth, God will always strengthen us by the energy of the Spirit. This energy of the Spirit is transmitted to us by the word of God (Ezekiel 2:2; Psalms 119:97-100). A major way the word of God comes to us is when we are praying in the spirit. We actually speak in the Holy Spirit by the things that the Spirit reveals to us, that cannot be expressed with human vocabulary (Romans 8:26-27). The more you do this the stronger your mind will be.

Friend, whenever you feel inadequate to confront any form of challenge, be it examinations, interviews, your office work, your family or business challenges, just look for a place to pray in the Holy Ghost for some time. You will receive the energy of the Spirit and manifest beyond your ability. Your weakness or limitations will be replaced with divine ability and you will always succeed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always pray in the spirit.

“IF THE SPIRIT DOES NOT STRENGTHENS YOU, YOU MAY NOT BE STRONG”

FOLLOWING CHRIST                   Luke 14:25-33 Devotional Verse:- "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple” (Vs. 26)      God has enthroned Jesus as King of kings and the Lord of lords (Revelation 17:14). Jesus earned this office by becoming the sacrificial Lamb of God for the salvation and redemption of man (Phil. 2:7-11). Therefore, every citizen of the kingdom of God must be followers and disciples of Jesus.

DOMINION

DOMINION   Psalms 8:1-9 Devotional:- “You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet” (V. 6) NKJV      At creation, man was given dominion over all that God created. This office was at that time a terrifying one for other creatures and even the devil. (Psalms 8.6; Psalms 110:1-3). It was this office that the devil was after that he had to deceive man and steal. You will observe that man was the last creature of God (Genesis 1:26). Yet he was made to have dominion over all that existed before him. The devil saw this as partiality on the side of God. He did not know that though man was the last creation yet the finest. The man was finally created to be in charge of all creation.

MASTER’S MINAS

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.
