Scripture Reading: Jude 1:14-25
Devotional:- “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (V. 20) NKJV
For us as children of God, our God is the source of our strength. We do not depend on men, alcohol or drugs to make us strong (Ephesians 5:18). God always strengthened us by His Spirit through His word (Isaiah 40:28-31). Whenever we are faced with any challenge, we are to turn to God to strengthen us to overcome. Strength is the ability to carry out a given task. For us to carry out our task on earth, God will always strengthen us by the energy of the Spirit. This energy of the Spirit is transmitted to us by the word of God (Ezekiel 2:2; Psalms 119:97-100). A major way the word of God comes to us is when we are praying in the spirit. We actually speak in the Holy Spirit by the things that the Spirit reveals to us, that cannot be expressed with human vocabulary (Romans 8:26-27). The more you do this the stronger your mind will be. Friend, whenever you feel inadequate to confront any form of challenge, be it examinations, interviews, your office work, your family or business challenges, just look for a place to pray in the Holy Ghost for some time. You will receive the energy of the Spirit and manifest beyond your ability. Your weakness or limitations will be replaced with divine ability and you will always succeed. Peace.PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always pray in the spirit.
“IF THE SPIRIT DOES NOT STRENGTHENS YOU, YOU MAY NOT BE STRONG”
