DARLING OF GOD I John 4:11-21 Devotional:- “If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?” (V. 20) NKJV God has some darlings He loves in the world, and they also love Him. They seek Him, and He seeks them. They long for Him, and He longs for them. You will know such people by the way they relate to others. Today, most people think the measure for their love for God is by the number of chapters of the Bible they read daily, the number of hours and times they pray daily, the numerous assignments they do in the church or the number of posts they occupy in the church. All of these are good things to do for the Lord, but it is not a true measurement of our love for God. PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT    
 
Scripture Reading: Jude 1:14-25
Devotional:- “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (V. 20) NKJV



   For us as children of God, our God is the source of our strength. We do not depend on men, alcohol or drugs to make us strong (Ephesians 5:18). God always strengthened us by His Spirit through His word (Isaiah 40:28-31). Whenever we are faced with any challenge, we are to turn to God to strengthen us to overcome. Strength is the ability to carry out a given task.

   For us to carry out our task on earth, God will always strengthen us by the energy of the Spirit. This energy of the Spirit is transmitted to us by the word of God (Ezekiel 2:2; Psalms 119:97-100). A major way the word of God comes to us is when we are praying in the spirit. We actually speak in the Holy Spirit by the things that the Spirit reveals to us, that cannot be expressed with human vocabulary (Romans 8:26-27). The more you do this the stronger your mind will be.

   Friend, whenever you feel inadequate to confront any form of challenge, be it examinations, interviews, your office work, your family or business challenges, just look for a place to pray in the Holy Ghost for some time. You will receive the energy of the Spirit and manifest beyond your ability. Your weakness or limitations will be replaced with divine ability and you will always succeed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always pray in the spirit.
 
“IF THE SPIRIT DOES NOT STRENGTHENS YOU, YOU MAY NOT BE STRONG”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
