  ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT    
 
Scripture Reading: Jude 1:14-25
Devotional:- “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit” (V. 20) NKJV



   For us as children of God, our God is the source of our strength. We do not depend on men, alcohol or drugs to make us strong (Ephesians 5:18). God always strengthened us by His Spirit through His word (Isaiah 40:28-31). Whenever we are faced with any challenge, we are to turn to God to strengthen us to overcome. Strength is the ability to carry out a given task.

   For us to carry out our task on earth, God will always strengthen us by the energy of the Spirit. This energy of the Spirit is transmitted to us by the word of God (Ezekiel 2:2; Psalms 119:97-100). A major way the word of God comes to us is when we are praying in the spirit. We actually speak in the Holy Spirit by the things that the Spirit reveals to us, that cannot be expressed with human vocabulary (Romans 8:26-27). The more you do this the stronger your mind will be.

   Friend, whenever you feel inadequate to confront any form of challenge, be it examinations, interviews, your office work, your family or business challenges, just look for a place to pray in the Holy Ghost for some time. You will receive the energy of the Spirit and manifest beyond your ability. Your weakness or limitations will be replaced with divine ability and you will always succeed. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to always pray in the spirit.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
