  PROMISES Isaiah 55:1-13  Devotional:- “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (V.11) NKJV One thing that is common with lovers are promises. It is part of what a true lover will want to hear. To a true lover, a promise is like a cheque capable of turning into cash. So when people who love us promise us, we cherish the promises. And when we remember them, it gladdens our heart. We even sometime feel happy enough to share it with other friends. One other terrible thing that is common with people is failing to fulfill promises. That is why it will be unwise to marry someone based on mare promises. These failure in promises of people, in some cases, are due to the inadequacy of human strength, or unforeseen circumstances that can overtake the promises, so the promised often feel deceived. FAITH       

Romans 1:8-17
Devotional: -“For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."" (V. 17) NKJV


   
One of the strongest energy of the Spirit is faith. A man operating by the Spirit of faith is a man of possibility. The word of God says, if we can believe, all things are possible. (Mark 9:23). Faith is the strength of the Spirit produced by the word of God. It is the strength of the Spirit that can move you to carry out the plan of God on the earth.
 
   The word of God says “the just shall live by faith” Which means without faith, Christianity will be a mockery. Through faith, people are justified before God (Romans 5:1). The word of God says people are saved by grace but it is through faith (Ephesians 2:8). At salvation the level of faith in people gives them access to salvation because of the grace of God. People can only enjoy the blessings of Abraham through faith (Galatians 3:13-14). It is the Holy Spirit that move people to be able to believe God and without faith they will not be able to achieve the plan of God for their lives (Philippians 2:13).
 
   Whenever people merely receive the word of God and it does not produce faith in them, it will not profit them (Hebrews 4:2). We receive faith when the spirit in the word is released into our spirit (John 6:63, Romans 10:17). That makes you to be restless till the plan of God is executed in your life. By faith Moses confronted Pharaoh, like facing the president of a nation to command him to let Israel go. By faith, they pass through the Red Sea because God said they should. Friend, when faith is at work in you, all things become possible. Peace.
    
PRAYER: Lord, let your faith be released for my freedom.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
