  JOY John 16:16-24  Devotional:- “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” (V. 20) NKJV God’s word says when sorrow endures till a night, joy comes in the morning (Psalms 30:5). This is an assurance and evidence that what is called sorrow is not a permanent situation in the life of a child of God. This is because it is certain that when a night comes, morning is always the next. The night is evidence of the coming morning. This is evidence that what you are going through right now will soon result in joy. In fact, the tougher it is, the closer the joy. May you see it. The scripture we read today gave us a new dimension of hope in our lives. Jesus said, our sorrow shall turn to joy. That which we think is a thing of sorrow shall suddenly become a thing of joy. Jesus likens it to a woman who is in labour. Women in this state often feel as if the end has come. But ...

GOOD SUCCESS

GOOD SUCCESS               

Joshua 1:1-9
Devotional:- “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (V. 8) NKJV


   All children of God must understand the difference between good success and success that is not good. Success that is not good is attained with earthly or sensual wisdom (common sense). The truth you must learn is that what you used to lay a foundation of a building will be needed to sustain such (Psalms 11:3). If God is not part of a success, He may not sustain it.
 
   Please know that good success is the one that will continue to succeed progressively (Proverbs 4:18). The word of God told us what can sustain all things; it is the energy of the Spirit (Hebrews 1:3,). Whatever is initiated by the energy of the Spirit of God will be sustained by the same. That energy has made the sun, the moon and the stars, and has sustained them till date (Hebrews 11:3). Success is not a success if it can expire. Good success has a successive future. 
 
   We have learnt how to receive the energy of the Spirit; it is by receiving the Spirit of the word through meditation and imagination. That is why good success can be gotten as we continually acknowledge God for direction and instruction in all that we do (Proverbs 3:5-6). That way, we will work our ways into good success. Peace.
 
PRAYER: Lord, help me to always be moved by your direction 
 
“IF GOD DIRECTS IT, HE WILL SUSTAIN IT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
