Believers should realise the importance of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Without Him, no one can actually walk with God. He is the evidence of genuine Christianity (Roman 8:14). He is the strength of obedience. He is called our helper in every situation (John 14:26). He is called our comforter, our teacher (John 14:26). He is the strength of every work of God (Acts 1:8). He is the achieving strength of the believers. He is the one who makes us live above sin (Romans 6:16). He is our great healer (Romans 8:11). He is the revealer of the truth (1 Corinthians 2:9-11). He is the excelling strength, the booster of life and the catalyst of destiny.
I always want to encourage each believer to seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Don’t stop at the level you used to be. You can grow in the spirit. He will differentiate you from others. He will give you prior information and turn you into a wise man or right words at the right time (Luke 12:11-12). He will reveal to you the tactics of the enemy and make you overcome him (2 Kings 6:27-33).
To receive Him into your life, you need to be thirsty for Him, humble yourself and ask (John 7:37-39; Luke 11:13). He will give you a new language. Just speak as He gives you utterance. You can receive and grow in Him right now. When you pray in the spirit, your prayers become more powerful than what the enemy can handle. Because He is the excellent spirit, He will make you excel in what you do and you will overcome.
Prayer:
Lord, fill me with your Spirit afresh.
