In the school of the victors, Daniel’s case is peculiar. He was a victim of jealousy and envy. Just as God lifted up His children every where, God granted him excelling wisdom and favour in the land of slavery. Though he was a slave, the favour of God brought him to the top. This he attained by using the gift and the grace of God in his life. God lifted him up to be among the presidents of the province.

The other presidents then collided against him, but God delivered him. He will deliver you too. They made a law against the worship of his God, and he did not turn away from God because of that. He continued to serve and worship the Lord. See, a child of God may face tribulation, yet he will not be overcome; it will rather turn to promotion for him. Then, they threw Daniel into the lion’s den, but God raised the king for him. And the king was used of God to release him and to judge the enemy. Because he did not lose his trust in the Lord his God. The mouth of lions was stopped for him, and he was not hurt.

Whatever challenges you may be facing, also believe that the Lord will deliver you. Don’t turn away from the Lord. Don’t stop obeying Him. Don’t stop serving Him. Those are things the enemy wants to see. God will raise men to rescue you. He will touch men at the top for you. And your enemies shall fall into the trap they’ve set for you. Hold on to Christ. Don’t deny Him because of anything. It may look like a war, but it is a test of your faith. You are destined for success.

Prayer: Lord, help me to triumph over the trials of life.

“EVERY TRIAL WE OVERCOME WILL ALWAYS LEAD TO LIFTING”
