SEEK GOOD WORDS   Proverb 12:20 – 28 “Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, But a good word makes it glad” (V. 25) NKJV 🎙 Victory Daily Devotional SEEK GOOD WORDS Support Us Proverb 12:20 – 28 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com The reason many people find life frustrating is because of the kind of information they listen to. There is no one that the devil doesn’t want to discourage. That is why we must seek to hear what will encourage us. Do you know that your life can be highly productive? You only need to be motivated and encouraged to move forward. Friend, if the company you keep does not motivate you, if the people who counsel you don’t challenge your faith, if the people you belong to doesn’t help you discover the potentials in you for greatness, there is a need to move away from such. A LIAR

A LIAR

John 8:37-47

Devotional:- “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it” (v.44) NKJV

One of the problems most people have is that they are easily confused by two voices that seem to be speaking in their minds sometimes. In most cases people do not know which one could be true at any point in time. The truth we have to learn is to know that those voices have their sources from either God or through our flesh. We also need to recognize the voice of the enemy as lies and that of the Lord as the truth.

To identify these voices we need to study the character of each of them. The truth will always come from God, not according to the flesh but according to the word of God. The lies will always come contrary to God’s will and principle in every situation. It may be more desirable for the flesh but will always come with uncertainty and confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). Lies will always come to create fear, tension and confusion, but the voice of God brings peace and joy (Psalms 85:8).

One of the ways to help yourself out of the confusion of the devil is to recognize him and call him by his name. When he comes around to fight you by his lies, then call him by his name liar and disregard his information. I don’t know the kind of lies the enemy as been speaking to your mind about your life education, health, business and your family, embarrass him by calling him his name – a liar. He will know that you recognize him and leave for another place. His dialect is lie. So please don’t ever believe him. His method is speaking half truth. Half truth is also lies. He has failed already, and he will continually fail in your life. He only has fake information about himself, disregard them..

Prayer: Lord, help me never to believe the devil’s lie.

“TO DISARM A LIAR, CALL IT IT’S NAME”
