HIS PRESENCE

It is always the target of the enemy to make us feel God is not with us. But you need to know that the devil is always a liar (John 8:44). Whatever makes you feel God has left you must be the devil because that is against the scripture, for the Bible says the scripture cannot be broken. God’s word says, “… I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5). I would like you to underline this in your Bible and give it a double line to never allow it to fade away in your memory. Many of us do not know that we are not made qualified by our works but by his grace.

Jacob was in the face of great trouble, challenging his destiny. His brother was about to kill him, so he ran for his dear life. He did something bad for his brother, but friend, that was not enough for God to say He doesn’t know him again (Ezekiel 33:11). He rather spoke His mind concerning him and assured him of His presence.

Please, know this for sure, God is with you; if not, you would have gone. Stop listening to the lies of the devil. God is on your side (Romans 8:31). Always live in this consciousness. If you are a member of the body of Christ, Jesus is therefore your head. Just like you cannot be anywhere without your head, so also with His presence. You don’t need to pray about this. It is sure. Live your life in peace and joy in the assurance of His presence. You cannot leave Him, nor can He leave you. You and your father are one. Just remain in His will, say no to sin, and you can be sure of His backing.

Prayer: Lord, let your presence terrify my enemies from now on.
