No man can live a worthy life without God. With all our knowledge and labour, if God does not crown it with his help, all will still be in vain (Psalm 127:1–2). This then brings the need for God in your life. If you want to live without God, your life will be full of sorrow and regrets.   The three wise men in our scripture sought the Lord as soon as they were aware of his birth; they denied themselves, left everything and ...

The average person lives in fear of one thing or another. But if we are going to reign in the midst of our enemies we must grow above fear. Fear is an expression of feeling of threat of seeing a danger. It is a feeling that enslaves the mind to lose its credibility and to believe that he is not save. It is a response of your inability to cope with your situation. It is caused by overestimation of the enemy and the underestimation of yourself. It could also be defined as lack of confidence in your strength.

In the scripture we read today, the disciples became afraid because they seemed to be facing a challenge that looked bigger than them. Jesus accused them because, He expected them to be confident with His presence. And we often fall victim of this same thing. We quickly forget the presence of God that is ever with us and we allow the size of our challenges to scare us.

If you are going to rule over your enemies you must live above fear. And if we are going to live above fear we must always carry in our mind the presence of God. We must always remember that we are never alone in the challenges. No matter the size of your problem, God is still bigger than all. Refuse to be afraid so that your faith is not corrupted. Every creature including the devil and sickness takes advantages of the fearful opponent. Always be assured in your heart that God is with you and be confidence in His presence. Paste it everywhere in your heart and in your room. Read it Read this to yourself always, “The Lord is with me”, and you will always win.

Prayer: Lord, deliver me from the spirit of fear.
