Among those who ruled in the midst of their enemies was Jacob. Right from the time he was in the womb, it’s been said about him that he struggled with his brother (Gen 25:22). So, he started his life battle from the womb. 

When he grew up, he lived a life of struggle till he ran from his father’s house to the house of Laban, only to find out that he had run away from his brother to the hand of another enemy.

Such is the life of many today who keep running from place to place. There is no place you will run to where enemies are not found. I have discovered that the only place to run to is not even abroad but into the hand of the Lord who is above (Proverbs 18:10). God gave Jacob wisdom that made him excel, notwithstanding what Laban did to him. God revealed several secrets to him in a dream about his work and profession. It is a formula of unique multiplication. He applied it, and it worked for him (Isaiah 48:17). 

You are also serving the same God. Ask Him for the wisdom of Jacob. The scripture says, “the secret things belong to God.” (Deut. 29:29). He said, He will teach us the way to go (Psalms 32:8). He also said “I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel.” (Isaiah 45:3). So, you can ask Him in the light of His word. And He will give you the hidden secret for your victory and success. And right in the midst of your enemy, you will succeed. 

Prayer: Lord, show me the way forward.

“GOD IS THE CUSTODIAN OF THE SECRETS TO YOUR SUCCESS”

The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
