  ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. SWORD OF THE SPIRIT

Hebrew 4:6-13
Devotional:- “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (V. 12) NKJV

    A sword is an important weapon of battle. It is a major weapon your enemies see and get scared, know that with it, you can kill and overcome. A sword is too delicate to play with. So those who go to war know that it is important. It will therefore be dangerous as a Christian that you live your life in this world of battles without a sword.

The bible says; the word of God is the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:17). Don’t forget we are not fighting with flesh and blood. So, we are not talking about a physical sword (1 Corinthians 10:4). Through it, you can put your enemy out of your way. This is by taking it as you take the sword. When a warrior takes the sword, he swings it to kill the enemy. So also, as a Christian when you take the word of God, you are saying it should act like a sword to all that is against you. Nothing can escape it. (Joel 2:3).

You therefore need to start to see God’s word as the bible says it is. If it is released through your mouth by faith your enemy is in trouble. Start to use this weapon from now and your victory shall be established. Peace!

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO ALWAYS PUT YOUR WORD IN MY MOUTH.

“SWORD HAVE NO MERCY”.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
