STRENGTH IN GOD

STRENGTH IN GOD 2 Corinthians 10:1-6 Devotional:- “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds” (V4) NKJV      Many Christians today have so much confusion about their strength in God. It has made the church think that a few limited people can demonstrate the strength of God. So, multitudes are weak in strength. Though they come to church, yet in times of challenges, you see them rushing to another Christian whom they know to be stronger in God. Neglecting the fact that a New Testament believer is a potential priest and king for Christ (Revelation 5:10; Mark 16:17).

STUBBORN CHILD

STUBBORN CHILD

Judges 14:1-3
Devotional:- “Then his father and mother said to him, "Is there no woman among the daughters of your brethren, or among all my people, that you must go and get a wife from the uncircumcised Philistines?" And Samson said to his father, "Get her for me, for she pleases me well" (V.3) NKJV

One of the terrible things the devil is doing in the world today is to enter into the hearts of some children and turn them into stubborn children. Such children would not want to listen to their parents. Some of them in their teenage years have become husband to their mother. Some of them will even want to beat their parents. The word of God already says in the last days children shall be disobedient to parents (2 Timothy 3:2). But as for your children, God shall help them.

This problem started from the wrong association and influence of the society. These have a strong influence on the children. The music and the films on the screen are also contributing to this evil. Samson was also demonstrating this wrong quality.

The way out is to engage your children in teaching them the word and the way of the Lord (Proverbs 22:6). It is important to introduce God to your children but in an interesting way. To the youth let them attend youth Christian’s program, and they will fall in love with God. Let them see good examples from your life. Always commit their heart to the hand of God (Proverbs 21:1). Be a praying parent. No one is too hard for God to change and your children shall be God’s kind, having the seed and the spirit of God in them. You shall never have sorrow over them. They will be your joy forever in Jesus' name.

Prayer: LORD, TAKE OVER MY CHILDREN FOR YOUR GLORY.

“GOD IS ABLE TO KEEP WHATEVER IS COMMITTED TO HIS HAND”
