DON'T BLAME GOD

DON’T BLAME GOD James 1:12-20 Devotional:- “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else” (V. 13) NLT Today, there is so much confusion the enemy places in the heart of men to make them feel that God hate them. So, when people are under the pressure of the flesh to sin, they say “God is tempting me”. When people are weak, they are going to face temptation through their flesh. It wil be wrong to say God is tempting you with sickness or troubles. Yes, God knows about it but He only allows it when we have been warned repeatedly and we refuse to change. He disciplines, but it is necessary for us to know that God is not the author of evil, that is the work of the devil (Hebrews 12:6; Matthew 4:24).  There is a difference between a test and temptation. To test means to examine or observe if someone is capable of doing something. To tempt means to entice or lure someone into doing some...

LOW FAITH

LOW FAITH

Luke 17:5-10
Devotional:- “And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith” (V. 5) NKJV

Sometimes in life, we face overwhelming challenges. According to God’s word, we know we need faith to overcome them, but our faith could be low. This happens to believers because we don’t regularly stand in the victory Christ has given us (Ephesians 6:13).  The enemy often wants to attack us at the period and the places of our weakness. Some children of God allow their faith life to leak because of anxiety and care for the things of the world. Please, be aware that the enemy will always take advantage of your period of sleeping in faith.

The disciples of Jesus also faced some challenges and saw the need to cry to Jesus to increase their faith. But Jesus answered and said, that a faith-like mustard seed will be enough to uproot trees. This is to let you know that your victory is already determined. Stop being up and down in your faith. Build strong daily in the truth of the word of God. Let the word become your mindset, so much so that your faith can no longer shake. A little faith will make you tap into the grace your life needs to overcome. Stop being afraid of sudden situations. No matter how low you may feel your faith is, speak God’s word to your situation and your enemy shall give up. Please understand that the things of God do not work according to our feelings (2 Corinthians 5:7). To increase your faith, increase your time of fellowship with the word of God, in prayer, and with the Church of Jesus. Read books written by men of faith.

Friend, you are fighting a battle that Christ has already won. You are already a winner in Christ Jesus (1 John 5:4). Don’t neglect your little faith; it’s enough for God to show up. Don’t be afraid, always think like a winner and you will always win.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO KEEP INCREASING IN FAITH.

“THE LITTLE FAITH APPLIED CAN BRING A GREAT MIRACLE”
