This is always the plan of the enemy. But I need to let you know that the moment you give up, you simply give up your destiny. Men may say so many things about you or let you feel you are doing nothing when you are putting in your best. Yet you must refuse to be discouraged.   David was a man who had cause to be discouraged in life, but he always refused. One such account is what we read tod...

LOW INCREASE

LOW INCREASE

I Corinthians 3:5-10
Devotional:- “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase” (V.6) NKJV

It is very much natural that when we plant, we should expect a harvest. God has ordained it to be so (Genesis 8:22). When you sow grains of maize, you are normally expected to reap curbs of it, this is the right phenomenon. But sometimes it happens that you put in so much to reap a little. This is the reverse of what God has ordained. However. loss of such has set fear in the hearts of many people and so they are even afraid to invest in anything again. But this should not be so.

This happens to us sometimes when we forget that God owns the power of increase and not man. When some people are greatly increasing, they attribute it to their smartness. They look at other people as if they do not know how. But the truth is that God is the one that gives grace for increase. Yes, there are factors responsible for an increase but when you have done all, minus God’s grace it equals frustration.

To overcome this challenge, there is a need to check some things. please check if we are sowing the right seed on good ground. Don’t forget that God is the one that can lead us to locate Our good ground (Psalm 23:2). Good ground for ’A’ may not be for ‘B’.

God is the determinant. Are you where God leads you? We need to ascertain the kind of seed we are sowing. Is it healthy or not? We also need to water our seed with the word of faith to grow and increase. Then lastly recognize that the key factor for the increase is direction and not our discretion.

Remember every seed has its season of harvest, i.e., gestation season. Take time to allow God’s leading, for he will always lead his people to greener pastures. Always be grateful for the little increase, then the big ones will be heading your way (Psalm 67:5-7). Your increase shall will have no limit because your season has come and everyone shall see your glory.

PRAYER: LORD, LET MY SEASON OF INCREASE COME.

“DIRECTION IS THE KEY TO DISTINCTION”
