  GROWING Ephesians 4:9-16 Devotional:- “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head of Christ” (V. 15) God’s plan and desire is that we grow up. So many Christian today are growing older but not growing up. Many are stocked in perpetual spiritual infancy. This is because they never intend to grow. Spiritual growth is not automatic, it takes intentional commitment. You must want to grow, decide to grow, make an effort and persist in growing. Discipleship is the process of becoming like Christ (Matthew 10:25). In your spiritual growth, God has a part and you have a part. To be Christ-like you will need to make Christ like choices and depend on the Holy Spirit to help you fulfill those choices. The moment you are ready, you will need to let go of some old routines and develop some new habits. You will need to intentionally change the way you are thinking (Philippians 2:12-13). FEED ON THE WORD

Joshua 1:6-9
Devotional:- “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success” (V. 8) NKJV

    Man often makes the mistake of building his body but not his soul. Since man is not the body but the spirit, he that does not build his soul is weak though he is building his body.  To build your soul, you need to feed it with the word of God (James 1:21). Jesus said, “The words I speak to you are spirit and life”. In other words; it carries a spirit that will turn your life to what it should be. Information brings reformation. Information is the vehicle of the spirit.

Meditation is the act of ruminating over information you have received. This is thinking deeply into the word of God, and then, the spirit of the word is released into your soul for edification. As you daily do this, you grow in the Holy Spirit. Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God (Luke 4:4). Take adventure into the rich word of God today and you will become stronger for your rising in life. Peace!

PRAYER: LORD, LET THERE BE AN INCREASE OF THIRST FOR YOUR WORD IN MY HEART.

“THE STRENGTH OF GOD IS IN HIS WORD; IT TAKES MEDITATION TO RECEIVE IT.”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
