GROWING

GROWING Ephesians 4:9-16 Devotional:- “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head of Christ” (V. 15) God’s plan and desire is that we grow up. So many Christian today are growing older but not growing up. Many are stocked in perpetual spiritual infancy. This is because they never intend to grow. Spiritual growth is not automatic, it takes intentional commitment. You must want to grow, decide to grow, make an effort and persist in growing. Discipleship is the process of becoming like Christ (Matthew 10:25). In your spiritual growth, God has a part and you have a part. To be Christ-like you will need to make Christ like choices and depend on the Holy Spirit to help you fulfill those choices. The moment you are ready, you will need to let go of some old routines and develop some new habits. You will need to intentionally change the way you are thinking (Philippians 2:12-13). To work out your salvation with fear and trembling means to take you...

REVELATION

REVELATION

Galatians 2:1-6
Devotional:- “And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of reputation, lest by any means I might run, or had run, in vain” (V. 2) NKJV

One of the benefits of the relationship with God is that you increase daily in the knowledge of His word. This gives you joy and delight in your Christian walk (Psalm 1:2). When you see a growing Christian, he will be happy and full of excitement about his adventure. On the contrary, Christians who experience dryness in their relationship with God don’t find joy and peace in their lives.

If you will always be refreshed in your spirit and keep growing as a believer, you must learn the importance of revelation. The revelation of the word of God is the food of a godly soul for your spiritual growth (Luke 4:4). This is by receiving light, deep insight, or understanding of scripture with the help of the Holy Spirit. At such time, you will be growing strong in the Lord and your heart will be full of joy.

Do you know that it is wrong for you to live at a time as a believer without a revelation of God’s word to celebrate in your heart? This is equal to starving your Soul. Meditation in God’s word gives this light. (Psalm 119:130) and this light gives you life in your spirit (John 1:4).

PRAYER: LORD, GIVE ME THE LIGHT OF YOUR WORD TODAY.

“WITH REVELATION, YOU WILL KEEP GROWING UP”.
