DON'T BLAME GOD

DON’T BLAME GOD James 1:12-20 Devotional:- “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else” (V. 13) NLT Today, there is so much confusion the enemy places in the heart of men to make them feel that God hate them. So, when people are under the pressure of the flesh to sin, they say “God is tempting me”. When people are weak, they are going to face temptation through their flesh. It wil be wrong to say God is tempting you with sickness or troubles. Yes, God knows about it but He only allows it when we have been warned repeatedly and we refuse to change. He disciplines, but it is necessary for us to know that God is not the author of evil, that is the work of the devil (Hebrews 12:6; Matthew 4:24).  There is a difference between a test and temptation. To test means to examine or observe if someone is capable of doing something. To tempt means to entice or lure someone into doing some...

WALKING WITH GOD

WALKING WITH GOD

Genesis 17:1-8
Devotional:- “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless” (V. 1) NKJV

God did not create us for fluctuating experiences in life. That some days are okay, and the other days are not well cannot be the plan of God for His children. God’s word says the path of the just is like a light that is ever getting brighter (Prov. 4:18). Abraham and his wife at a time decided to walk out of the will of God because of their challenges. They wanted to see if they could help God’s Covenant promises to come to pass. But when the case began to boomerang, God called him to order and charged him to walk perfectly before Him.

The truth is that our lives can experience a greater manifestation of God’s glory if we choose to walk consistently with Him. You can achieve this by carrying Him along in all that you do. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and be obedient to His leading (Proverbs 3:5-6). This is how to walk with God. By doing so, we will be having a glorious experience with God (Isaiah 40:31). Keep your consistent walk with God, and your strength will always be on the increase.

PRAYER: HOLY SPIRIT, HELP ME TO BE CONSISTENT IN MY WALK WITH THE FATHER.

“CONSISTENCY IS WHAT BRINGS THE BEST OF RELATIONSHIPS”.
