  GROWING Ephesians 4:9-16 Devotional:- “But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head of Christ” (V. 15) God’s plan and desire is that we grow up. So many Christian today are growing older but not growing up. Many are stocked in perpetual spiritual infancy. This is because they never intend to grow. Spiritual growth is not automatic, it takes intentional commitment. You must want to grow, decide to grow, make an effort and persist in growing. Discipleship is the process of becoming like Christ (Matthew 10:25). In your spiritual growth, God has a part and you have a part. To be Christ-like you will need to make Christ like choices and depend on the Holy Spirit to help you fulfill those choices. The moment you are ready, you will need to let go of some old routines and develop some new habits. You will need to intentionally change the way you are thinking (Philippians 2:12-13). PEACEFUL BLESSING

Joshua 7:16-26
Devotional:- “When I saw among the spoils a beautiful Babylonian garment, two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold weighing fifty shekels, I coveted them and took them. And there they are, hidden in the earth in the midst of my tent, with the silver under it” (V.21) NKJV

    God demonstrated His mighty power and delivered the children of Israel from the hands of the Egyptians, and He brought them to their promised land. But as soon as they took over the promised land, a small nation defeated them in battle and they were embarrassed. They didn’t know that one man had just wrongly acquired wealth among them which set God against them. Then God allowed their enemies to defeat them. When an inquiry was made, Achan was discovered to have taken and hidden what God said they should not touch. He wanted to be smart enough to get rich quickly, not knowing that it was the way of destruction.

Today, the blessing some people are gathering is the one they have used “boldface” to get. They terrorize others to get wealth. People seem to have taken evil blessings to be good ones since they don’t understand the way to wealth. Not many want to labour genuinely to make it. Dangerous people devise ways of defrauding others for what they have laboured for.

A family or nation that plans to steal from others cannot be great. It is only a family or nation that is diligent that can enjoy the blessings of God. God’s blessing comes with peace and prosperity. You don’t need to fight anyone to get it. God’s blessing will come when you get involved in a genuine business that brings a peaceful blessing (Proverb 10:22). Achan ended up in destruction. Don’t follow such a path, face your business with godly wisdom and heaven will prosper you.

PRAYER: LORD, DELIVER ME FROM SINFUL AND DEADLY BLESSING.

“ENERGY INVESTED IN EVIL BLESSING WILL KILL ITS VICTIM. WATCH OUT”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
