DON'T BLAME GOD

DON’T BLAME GOD James 1:12-20 Devotional:- “And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, "God is tempting me." God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else” (V. 13) NLT Today, there is so much confusion the enemy places in the heart of men to make them feel that God hate them. So, when people are under the pressure of the flesh to sin, they say “God is tempting me”. When people are weak, they are going to face temptation through their flesh. It wil be wrong to say God is tempting you with sickness or troubles. Yes, God knows about it but He only allows it when we have been warned repeatedly and we refuse to change. He disciplines, but it is necessary for us to know that God is not the author of evil, that is the work of the devil (Hebrews 12:6; Matthew 4:24).  There is a difference between a test and temptation. To test means to examine or observe if someone is capable of doing something. To tempt means to entice or lure someone into doing some...

MISTRUST

MISTRUST

I Samuel 15:20:30
Devotional:- “And as Samuel turned around to go away, Saul seized the edge of his robe, and it tore” (V. 27) NKJV

Relationships have remained one of the most important factors in human lives.  As much as relationship is important there is a disease that could easily destroy relationships. This happens mostly in marriages and families. This disease is mistrust. When people can no longer trust themselves the problems in a relationship can be difficult to amend.

Anytime I read the story of Saul and Samuel, it always thrills my heart and I used to pity the situation. I observe that Saul was simply a victim of mistrust. When a Wife and her husband can no longer trust themselves each will keep finding fault. Samuel observed Saul and discovered that he would not obey the Lord. So, he lost confidence in him. Therefore, all the steps of Saul were only leading to more errors.

Husband and wife may find it difficult to trust themselves if one or both are living in sin. If they do not love one another, they will find it difficult to trust themselves and will always be looking for the errors of each other. In such an atmosphere there cannot be peace and joy. Love and liberty will be erased.

If you find yourself in this challenge, then humble yourself and ask God to amend your life of what you are doing that is causing mistrust. Then pray that God will touch the heart of the second person to forgive you. Let your lifestyle show that you have truly repented and God will restore your relationship. Joy, love, and peace shall be restored in your house and office. This year you will progress in Jesus name.

PRAYER: LORD, HELP ME TO BE A LOVABLE PERSON IN MY LIFE.

“WHOEVER WANTS TO BE TRUSTED SHOULD KEEP INTEGRITY AND BE TRUSTWORTHY”
