ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

LORD OF LORDS

LORD OF LORDS

“For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe (V. 17)

In this world, there are territories and kingdoms. You cannot find any place on the earth where there is no ruler of some kind. Everywhere belongs to someone already. Just as it is physically, so is it

Spiritually. God’s word reveals to us that there are principalities and powers and rulers of territories spiritually (Ephesians 6:12). These rulers exercise authority over the people of their domain (Mark 10:42). That is why you will sometimes hear about a particular affliction common to a particular environment.

But the Bible calls our God Lord of lords. This means He has authority and dominion over all lords both physical and spiritual. That is why as a child of God, your authority supersedes. When Jesus was in His earthly ministry people kept asking who gave Him authority to do what He was doing. (Matthew 21:23). But they do not know that His authority is from above.

Friend, stop being afraid of any lord no matter their names. Your God is the Lord of lords (Proverbs 21:1). Stop living under the torment of a lord whatsoever. You can stand in the name of the Lord Jesus and they will bow (Philippians 2:9-11). God’s authority is supreme. It is the highest and higher than that of any president or governor of any state. Greater is He that is in you (John 4:4). Never allow any demonic authority to take over your life, family, house or business. In the name of the Lord, they will bow to you. Establish the Lordship of Jesus in that place where you are and your peace shall be established.

Prayer: Lord, establish your Lordship over my life and family.

“IT IS WHO YOU SUBMIT TO THAT IS YOUR LORD” (Romans 6:16)
