  OBEDIENCE Acts 13:42-52 Devotional:- “And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.” (v.52) NKJV A great instrument that can sustain joy in the life of God’s children is obedience. When a man disobey God, the enemy just strategically makes him lose his right decision. The devil has just made him follow a wrong path and shunned his part in God’s help and provision. So he cannot help but experience sorrow and regret at last. Many don’t just know why they have sorrow. They do not know that they are created by God for God (Isaiah 43:21). So when man disobeys, it is life out of course (Psalms 82:5). The disciples were led by the Holy Spirit to send Paul and Barnabas on an assignment for God (Acts 13:1-3). But as they went on their journey for God’s assignment, they were confronted with persecution by the Jews. Yet, they had great joy. THE FATHER

John 20:11-18
Devotional:- “..but go to my brethren and tell them, I am ascending to my father and your father and my God and your God” (V. 17) AMPL

    It is a normal thing that every male loves to ascend to the status of a father, but many are not qualified for it. People often love to have an office but not the responsibility of the office. So, today we have a lot of fathers who don’t see their children for more than three hours a week. Some don’t even know the school their children attend nor recognize the state of their life. That is why most terrible children in society today come from big homes. It is because many lack a real father figure in their lives.

You need to know that God also desires to ascend to this status in the life of people. And He will always take full responsibility for His children. Jesus said, I have kept all that the father has given me except the son of perdition (John 17:12). This is a responsible statement.

I will encourage you to recognize God as your father and you will begin to enjoy His fathers’ ministry. You will start to receive His love, correction and instruction (Hebrew 12:6). He becomes your father because He is in you by His Spirit that is in you (1 Corinthians 3:16). By His Spirit in you, you have become His extension and son. You came from Him (John 8:42). He so much loves you. Start to call Him your father and relate with Him exactly. In our scripture today when Jesus was resurrected, He introduced God to us as our Father. Take Him by His word. Freely relate and share with Him. Ask Him questions as a child to the father. Always love to be in His presence and carry the consciousness of His presence with you everywhere. You will begin to enjoy His Father’s ministry over your life.

Prayer: Lord, make me know you as my father indeed.

“IF GOD IS YOUR FATHER YOUR LIFE IS BOUND TO FLOURISH”

FRUITFULNESS Psalms 128:1-6 Devotional:- Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table” (V.3) NKJV      One of the blessings God pronounced on man at creation is fruitfulness. And today people are beginning to think that fruitlessness is a defect in the creation of man. So, most people are beginning to count it as natural to be fruitless. But we need to ask ourselves if there were defects in God's creation. Why should it be that it is only in human we often find such defects? How many goats or dogs have you found barren? Are we saying the same word of God spoken that brought the creation of all things has failed on the side of humans?  If you accept it as your lifestyle, it is your choice.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
