HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT

HOW REAL SERVANTS ACT Mark 10:35-45 Devotional:- “Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant” (V. 43).   The world defines greatness in terms of power, possessions, prestige and position but God determined your greatness by how many people you serve. This is quite contrary to the world view. Jesus called Himself servant and to be like Him is to be a servant. That is why it is so important to have a servant’s heart. God often test our heart by asking us to serve even outside our shape or area of interest. Your priority area of service should be in your area of shape, but God could demand for your service wherever needed. Looking at how a servant act is important because one could serve in a church for years and not be a real servant. Real servants make themselves available to serve. If you only serve when it is convenient, then you are not a good servant (2 Timothy 2:4). Real servants pay attention to needs, always lo...

THE SUPREME

THE SUPREME

Devotional:- “Fear ye not, neither be afraid… Is there a God beside me? Yea, there is no God; I know not any” (V. 8) KJV

It is important that you have this understanding once and for all, that there is no other God besides the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who is the father of our Lord Jesus Christ. There can be many gods but there is only one God. Our God is the supreme God. He Is the only God. That is why Jesus is referred to as the Head of all other gods (Ephesians 1:19-23). That is why you don’t let any god terrify you. Greater is He that is in you (1 John 4:4).

The word supreme means the highest, and this means there is no other power higher than His. It means the best. It also means the ultimate. He is the superlative God. He is the utmost - sovereign God. His power is the greatest (Jeremiah10:6). Beside Him, no other power can stand (Deuteronomy 4:35). This is not a religious statement but the truth (Exodus 8:10). No matter the power anyone is employing against you when you stand in the name of the Lord, they must submit knowing that your God is superior (Philippians 2:9-11).

That is why you need to stop being afraid of any evil. Always remember in any situation the supreme God is inside you (1 John 4:4). As mighty as He is, He is inside you (1 Corinthians 3:16). His decision is the final. When He says yes no one changes it (Isaiah 43:11-13). When He is your saviour no one can bind or harm you. If you dream of anyone binding you, that dream is fake. Throw it away. This is because no one can bind the one in you (Romans 8:31). So, binding you is impossible. It is a trick to cage your mind into fear. Refuse it. Wake up and celebrate your liberty in Christ. And you shall be unstoppable.

Declaration: Greater is He that is in me.

“WHATEVER IS SUPREME IS UNCHALLENGEABLE”
