  SPECIAL CHILDREN Proverbs 23:15-25  Devotional:- “Do not let your heart envy sinners, But be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day” (V.17) NKJV Today, the lives of children in most nations are becoming a great trouble. Many parents have lost control of their children. But in the midst of these hopeless situations of the future generation, yet some children allow the word of God to rule their lives, such children have the fear of God in them. These are children who keep a wise heart and who have learnt the right use of their lips. Who don’t open their lip to speak just anything but the truth and wisdom (Proverbs 23:16). These are children who don’t envy the way of sin, nor do they get themselves involved in the sinful nature of this generation. Rather, they fear the Lord, and this affects everything they do (Proverbs 23:17). THE LIVING GOD

THE LIVING GOD 

Devotional:- “As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father so he who feeds on me will live because of me” (v.57)

    God is the author of life, so, He is the living God. He is the one that gave the breath of life to the first man and life came into him (Genesis 2:7), All other gods may be lifeless but God is the living God. Very many heroes and prophets that men worship started living at a time and now have died and are no longer alive. But God is the eternal life. Even though Jesus had to die for our sins, the grave cannot retain Him for in Him is life and that is why He could resurrect.

Jesus was sharing in our scriptures today and telling the people of the need to feed on Him to gain the life of God. But they could not understand. To feed on Him Is to partake of the communion table, which is a figurative representative of His body and His blood. To feed on Him is to meditate on His word daily (Deuteronomy 8:3). Jesus says, that as we partake of this, the same life of God in Him begins to transfer to us. Since He is life, feeding on Him makes us have the life of God in us (John 6:53). It is the reason why as believers we have eternal life in us. That is why as a child of God, you must always partake of the communion table. You must always meditate on the word of God (John 6:63). And you will be able to retain His life in you. Refuse to give in to death in any area of your life, for He that is in you is the author of life.

Prayer: Lord, let your life be transferred into me daily.

“LIFE IS TRANSFERABLE BY BIRTH”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
