I will help you," says the LORD And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel” (V. 14) NKJV Just because God loves us, He has promised to help us. Every man, at one time or another, will need help. This is because the strength of man is inadequate in most cases. Most of the time, our strength proves inadequate, even when we are close to success. You will observe that with all your determination, thinking you can do something, sometimes, you will only get to the middle, to discover that your strength has been exhausted. At such a point, people who don’t have God turn to the devil for help. The devil will always take advantage of such a time, pretending to have a solution but only trying to trap their lives. JEHOVAH SHALOM

Judges 6:12-24
Then Gideon built an altar there unto the LORD, and called It Jehovah-shalom…” (V.24) KJV

    Another scarce commodity in the affairs of many today is peace. Everyone loves peace but as much as people desire peace as much as it is not available to them. Until men locate the source of peace, they may never experience it the way it is supposed to be. God is the source of true peace and that is why Jesus is called the prince of peace (Isaiah 9:6).

An Angel of the Lord met Gideon and he was so shocked. When he met the angel, he never knew that it was an angel of God. But as they kept conversing after the sacrifice it dawned on him that he had been speaking with God unknowingly. So, he became afraid thinking he was going to die (Exodus 33:20). But God spoke to Him and said, “Peace be unto you, fear not for you shall not die. And he calls the place Jehovah-Shalom meaning, The Lord is Peace”.

Friend, get to know that God is your peace. He is your security and strength. He is your protection. When you always see God around you then His peace shall always surround you. Instead of death, you shall live. His gift of peace is without repentance if you will remain in Him(John 14:27; Romans 11:29). Now, He will give peace in your land and your life and family shall continue to experience the peace of God (Leviticus 26:6).

Prayer: Lord, help my heart to rest in your peace forever

“WHEN HE IS YOUR PEACE NO ONE WILL TROUBLE YOU”

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
