ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

EVERLASTING STRENGTH

EVERLASTING STRENGTH

Isaiah 26:1-7
Devotional:- Trust ye in the Lord, forever, for in the Lord JEHOVAH is everlasting strength” (V. 4) KJV

A man may be strong today and may not be tomorrow. We have seen a one-time world champion be defeated like a weakling. This is because human strength has limitations. When a man grows in strength, it will get to a level; he will begin to decline. That is why we have seen great organizations suddenly collapsing. They have simply come to the climax of their strength.

But your God is the everlasting strength. God’s word says, He neither faint nor weary in strength (Isaiah 40:28). He is ever strong. Instead of getting weary, He even distributes strength to those who wait on Him (Isaiah 40:31). From ages past, He has been the strength of His people.

It therefore means His strength is strength indeed. As He has helped the people of old, He can still help us. His strength never diminishes. You and I can therefore put our hope in His strength. He can supply us with His victorious strength. He can sustain us. He can see us through. Whatever we may have to face, His strength is always there sufficiently. All you need to do is to put your trust in Him. Never trust in the strength of any man (Jeremiah 17:5). God’s strength is always sufficient.

Prayer: Lord, be my strength forever.

“THE CONTINUITY OF THE SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH DETERMINED THE DURATION OF YOUR CHAMPIONSHIP”
