  DESIGNED TO SERVE GOD Psalm 139:13-18 Devotional:- “Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!” (V. 16 NLT)   God designed and formed you to fit into what He wants you to do to serve Him. The intended function determines the form of a building, so also your life. You are the way you are because you were made for specific ministry (Ephesians 2:10) Our scripture today simply means nothing that happens in your life is insignificant. God will never waste any ability unless He intend to use it for His glory (1 Peter 2:9) Before God will give you any assignment, He must have packaged you for it. This packaging is what we call shape (Jeremiah 1:5). Let us look at the meaning of each letter in your shape. The ‘S’ represents Spiritual gifts. These are special God-empowered abilities for serving Him, giving only to believers (1 Cor. 2:14). These gift cannot be bought because they are given by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11). HE IS LOVE

Devotional:- “He who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love” (v.8) AMPL

    So many parts of the world have so much confusion about the word love. This is because some people don’t even know what love is. What a greater percentage of the world often experiences is fake love. Knowledge is supposed to promote love, but it is a pity, that it has reduced love in this generation. The increase in knowledge has become an excuse for many to stay out of love.

The scripture we read today says God is love. I realize that the major thing the world is looking for is love. We want a friend that we love. We want a spouse, a leader or a political party that loves us and looks after the welfare of the people. It is a pity that most people lack love. The truth is that the world cannot find love until they can locate the true love.

God is love. If you want love in your life, home, office, or nation you will only need to bring Him there. When there is God, there will be love. He so much loves you that He gave His son to die for you (John 3:16). What else will He not be able to do for you? (Romans 8:32). It will be wrong to keep looking for true love in man or woman without God. When anyone is not in Him don’t expect Him to have a sure lasting love. If you are a child of God that is the reason why it should be natural for you to love. If you are not able to love you have not known Him. Stop expecting perfect love from a man but in God. Cleave unto Him and you will always find love.

Prayer: Lord, let your love come into my heart and my home.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
