TAKE NO OFFENCE Luke 7:18-30 Devotional:- “And blessed is he who is not offended because of Me” (v.23) NKJV   🎙 Victory Daily Devotional TAKE NO OFFENCE Support Us Luke 7:18-30 Remi Agbabiaka Outreach Ministry (RAOM)  |  victorydaily.blogspot.com Sometimes, men easily get offended. That is, they get annoyed and refuse to relate to one another. Many of us have some people we don’t greet now on this account. Some people have taken offence at their parents and relations, and they refused to relate to them. The truth is that if you know the harm you are doing to yourself by so doing, you will give up on this.   In the scripture we read today, John the Baptist was not happy because Jesus did not come to rescue him from prison, and he took offence at Christ. He sent messengers to Jesus to ask if He was the Christ or not. This question see...

JEHOVAH-JIREH

JEHOVAH-JIREH

Devotional:- “And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah – Jireh: as it said to this day, in the mount of the Lord it shall be seen”. (V. 14) KJV

God is a great provider. A provision at a time of need is like water at a time of thirst. All of us are often faced with one need or the other. Some don’t always have their needs met and so they join the poor and become a failure in life. Some others force their need to be met through away and become one of the wicked. And by so doing create sorrow of tomorrow for themselves (Proverbs10:22). But not very many people have known God as a great provider.

God instructed Abraham to go and sacrifice his only son unto Him. Abraham obeyed God by going to the described mountain. As he lifted his hand to kill the child God, called unto him to show him a lamb that He has provided. Abraham named that place Jehovah-Jireh, meaning God shall provide.

If you like to see God‘s hand of provision in your life also, you must learn to believe Him for it. You must learn to see Him as your provider, God hates no man. So, you should always make your needs known to Him in prayers. Then wait on His instruction for the meeting of your need. And as you obey Him your needs will always be met (Philippians 4:19). He will always provide for you. You need to know that He will not fail those who will trust in Him. And soon you will be out of debt to abundance.

Prayer: Lord, meet my need today

“YOUR NEEDS ARE ONLY OBEDIENCE AWAY FROM YOU”
