ASK Matthew 7:7-12  Devotional:- “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!” (V.11) NKJV For us to be able to enjoy the love of God as believers, we must begin to ask God for our needs. It is the principle of God that you will only have what you ask (Matthew 7:7). If you don’t speak out to ask, you may not be given. This was the problem of the senior brother of the prodigal son (Luke 15:29-32). Everything is for Him, but he had never asked for any. But the younger brother knew how to ask You must also learn how to ask. This is because you will only enjoy what you asked for. We therefore need to learn how to ask. The word ‘ask’ is not the same as beg or loan. The word asks suggests confidence and courage. It means to demand for what you are due for. It means to ask for your rights and your entitlements in God (Galatians 3:13-14). The bible is a book of covenant ...

KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Devotional:- “And such as do wickedly power, the knowledge against the covenant shall He corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits” (V.32) KJV

Since knowledge is power, the knowledge of God is therefore the source of strength and power, for everyone in God (Proverbs 24:5). So, to know Him is to be strong in Him. It is amazing today to see how people in their multitudes are following God without knowing Him. This has birthed much failure and frustration.

The scripture we read today brings to light the reason why some Christians are strong and why many are weak. This is due to the level of revelational knowledge of God each one has contacted. God’s knowledge is the source of the power of God. It is the strength for exploit. It is the unstoppable might of God. It is the originator and the generator of faith (Romans 10:17). It is the propelling force for every move of God. It is the power at work for all innovation and manifestation in ministry. It is the secret of all miracles.

It Is important that you from now cherish your devotional study of the word of God. The word is the womb of your miracles. Start to consciously devote time to the word. Crave and thirst for the word like your food (Deuteronomy 8:3). And your life will experience a new move of God that will make you a winner.

Prayer: Lord, give me a heart for your word.
