  ATMOSPHERE OF LOVE l John 4:12-19 Devotional:- “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.“ (V. 18) NKJV In any environment where love is predominant, such environment will be characterized with liberty. So many people who desire an atmosphere of love today unconsiciously create barriers agaisnt it by not creating a free environment. In the home of some people, though they complain there is no love, they don’t create liberty among themselves. The scripture we read today says, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. “A very good portrait of love is the atmosphere God created in the garden of Eden at creation. God wanted love, and so He made it a free relationship. Liberty is not an absence of rules and regulations but the joy of living by the rules without fear. CONSUMING FIRE

Devotional:- “For our God is a consuming fire” (V. 29)

    One of the attributes of God is that He is a consuming fire. There are different categories of fires. Some fires cannot burn. Some fires can burn and turn the particles into ashes. But there is a fire that consumes and allows nothing to remain. It normally swallows and is removed from existence. God is that fire.

That is why your enemy cannot always move closer. As good and loving as God is. Yet when anyone is against Him or His children, they face His wrath. Wherever God is, no unrighteous weapon cannot prosper there. No weapon of wickedness can survive in the presence of God (Isaiah 54:17).

That is why you will need to always see God around you in your imagination, and He has promised to be a fence of fire all around you and glory in your midst (Zechariah 2:5). When your fence Is made with a consuming fire, no one dares move closer. This is who God is for you. All that is important is that you are living in His will to always please Him (Proverbs 16:7). Know therefore from today that you are untouchable for the enemy and all the forces of wickedness. Always see this God around you and your surroundings shall be with peace.

Prayer: Lord, help me to always see you around me.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
