  FILLING HIS MIND Psalms 8:1-9  Devotional:- “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? “ (V.4) NKJV When two people are at the peak of love, their entire minds will be full of one another. There is nothing else that will gain stronger attention at such a time. If you employ a man who is always thinking of his wife, may he work. He will always have his rapt attention for the woman. This is because love is one of the things that does not want shared attention in the mind of man. And as much as men may have their minds filled with the thought of their lovers, as much as they can be empty of it sometimes. But God is not a man who can sometimes forget His own beloved. The scripture we read today says, His mind is full of you. That is, He is always thinking of you. His entire attention is on you. That is why you need to look at your challenges. WHAT ARE PRINCIPLES?

Devotional:- And they continued steadfastly in the apostles" doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers" (V. 42)

    Principles in relationships are values formed to become a standard for practices and the way of people living together. A community without such principles will be out of control. This could lead to self-destruction. These principles are the ethics and pattern of living in any given community. The generations we are living in today want to be without principles, either at home or in the community. People want to do what they feel like doing any how at any given time. If you want to have good relationship and the best of it, you must learn the principles of relationship in the word of God. For example; it is a principle of relationship not to love people more than yourself (Matthew 22:39).

The word of God shows us how the first church had healthy relationship and they could stay together. The principles that governed this community of believers was been connected to the apostle’s doctrine. They value their fellowship together as a family, they share what they have and they are prayerful. This made them a force so strong that the nation was afraid of them. Today, some parents have different opinion about family altar and devotion. Some believe that it has to be individual, some together, and others none. Such family will raise children who will not know the Lord.

Friend, let us learn to submit to the principle of healthy relationship both in our family and in the church. Don't break the principle of the word of God and think you will be okay. If you keep breaking principles, it will keep breaking you. If you are part of any church family, be committed to the principles of the leadership there. That is when you will encounter God indeed. You will not be destroyed in Jesus name. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, help me and my family to be submissive to the principles of your house.

"SUBMISSION IS NOT THE BEST WAY TO LIVE; IT IS THE ONLY WAY TO LIVE"

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
