OVERFLOWING WITH JOY

OVERFLOWING WITH JOY Psalm 23:1-6 Devotional:- “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (v.5) NKJV It is the will of God in this season to fill your life with good things until you overflow with joy. This is not God’s plan for a few people but for all mankind. He intends to make everyone overflow with the good things of life. What does it mean to overflow? This simply means God want everyone to experience an abundance of good things and then flow out to others (John 10:10).  King David was sharing the testimony of his own overflowing experience. Though the enemies wanted to stop him, the Lord did it for him. Despite all the challenges and hurdles he has to pass through yet God brought him to his overflowing experience. That is why you also need to settle it in your heart that your abundance of all good things is coming. It doesn’t matter what you may be going through now; just keep working faithfully with th...

LOVE LANGUAGES

LOVE LANGUAGES

Devotional:- “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on Us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him” (V. 1)

Words are powerful. Words are seed (Luke 8:11). The word of God creates and so are our words (John 1:1-3). If our word creates, then, it is the seed for all that were produced in this world. It is important we know that, there are angels of God to carry out our words especially when we are speaking the word of God (Psalms103:20). That is why there is no one who can keep speaking hatred that will have love around him/her.

The word of God says God is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters. He is not ashamed to call us His own people. That is how we also should not be afraid to identify with our loved ones. The Bible says God publicly spoke about Jesus, “This is my beloved son, hear ye Him” (Matthew 17:5). God said this at different times – when Jesus was been baptized and also at the Transfiguration Mountain (Matthew3:17; Matthew 17:5).

Friend, it is not out of place to use languages of love to speak to our spouses “My beloved”; “My dear”; “My love” etc., that is why this is not for any other person except your spouse. If God calls us His beloved, then, we should call ourselves beloved. And your marriage will be sweet. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me grace to always sow the seed of love into my marriage

“IT IS THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE THAT STIRS UP LOVE”
