OVERFLOWING WITH JOY Psalm 23:1-6 Devotional:- “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (v.5) NKJV It is the will of God in this season to fill your life with good things until you overflow with joy. This is not God’s plan for a few people but for all mankind. He intends to make everyone overflow with the good things of life. What does it mean to overflow? This simply means God want everyone to experience an abundance of good things and then flow out to others (John 10:10).  King David was sharing the testimony of his own overflowing experience. Though the enemies wanted to stop him, the Lord did it for him. Despite all the challenges and hurdles he has to pass through yet God brought him to his overflowing experience. CORRECTION

Ephesians 4:1-6
Devotional:- “with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love” (V. 2)

As human being, we grow into maturity when we make changes from our wrong attitude to the right one. For change to take place, there is a need for us to be corrected in such area of change. If we are going to be corrected, God is going to use men to do so and we are also to be used to correct others. Since no correction; no change: then, we cannot avoid been corrected by people around us. If our relationship will grow then, the approach to correction must be very mature.

The word of God teaches us to correct each other with love. This is correcting each other with understanding. Not reacting but resolving individual confusion with understanding. Knowing full well that if a mature person behaves wrongly, it is because they do not understand what makes them err. Therefore, we should not take correction as accusation but explanation to bring them to understand. By so doing, we can win them to the side of wisdom.

By reacting to people, we confront them without considering them. That way, we create reaction for further reaction and they will not be able to learn. It takes humility to genuinely correct and people will take it like that. Many times, we need to pray for God to touch them before we do (Proverbs 2 1:1). Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, teach me the skill of good correction.
