  FILLING HIS MIND Psalms 8:1-9  Devotional:- “What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? “ (V.4) NKJV When two people are at the peak of love, their entire minds will be full of one another. There is nothing else that will gain stronger attention at such a time. If you employ a man who is always thinking of his wife, may he work. He will always have his rapt attention for the woman. This is because love is one of the things that does not want shared attention in the mind of man. And as much as men may have their minds filled with the thought of their lovers, as much as they can be empty of it sometimes. But God is not a man who can sometimes forget His own beloved. The scripture we read today says, His mind is full of you. That is, He is always thinking of you. His entire attention is on you. That is why you need to look at your challenges. THE AUTHOR 

Devotional:- "So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them" (V. 27)

God, the creator of all human is the author of marriage-relationship. He is the one who knows the purpose of marriage. He is the one who determines the way marriage is to be instituted. It will therefore be very important for us to follow His pattern and to get the best of our relationship. His intension was to make man have the best of each other. His intention is to make a marriage the best place for man on earth.

For you to have the best of your relationship, you need to look into how the author aimed it to be. If God is the author, then we have to look into his pattern to have our best. God then must be allowed to govern our home; in how we relate and communicate, in how we treat ourselves in the family, in how we raise our children and in how we manage our resources. All of these should not be patterned after the world but by the instructions of God. A godly family should daily have fellowship with God and His word. This is how God will rule in our home. Anything outside this is of the devil and not of God.

Friend, let us all submit to what the author prescribed. His wisdom cannot be compared to ours. Let us follow His pattern and His approach. The church of Jesus should not be part of worldliness in marriage. Peace

Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to allow you to govern my home by your pattern.

MASTER’S MINAS Luke 19:11-27 Devotional:- “So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, 'Do business till I come” (V. 13) NKJV      The word of God instructs us to do business. The Bible did not advise us to do business but it commanded us. That is why it would be wrong for you and me to be without a business. That makes idleness a crime against self (1 Thessalonians 4:11). Business is whatever you are doing to earn income. God will not accommodate idleness with anyone because He invested heavily in us.

COURAGE Joshua 1:1-9 Devotional:- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” (V. 9) NKJV      A major reason why many people are weak is because their level of courage is so low, that it cannot sustain them through to success. So they easily give up when faced with challenges. There is need for us to understand that there is no action that will not attract a reaction. So the only answer is courage.
