OVERFLOWING WITH JOY Psalm 23:1-6 Devotional:- “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over” (v.5) NKJV It is the will of God in this season to fill your life with good things until you overflow with joy. This is not God’s plan for a few people but for all mankind. He intends to make everyone overflow with the good things of life. What does it mean to overflow? This simply means God want everyone to experience an abundance of good things and then flow out to others (John 10:10).  King David was sharing the testimony of his own overflowing experience. Though the enemies wanted to stop him, the Lord did it for him. Despite all the challenges and hurdles he has to pass through yet God brought him to his overflowing experience. UNDERSTANDING

UNDERSTANDING

1 Peter 3:1-12
Devotional:- “Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding. Giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered” (V. 7)

Here is a great need to be of understanding if relationship will not be like a trap. To live together with understanding is to tolerate each other with maturity. This is to understand that we are people raised from different background, yet, brought together by divine arrangement. It is therefore very important that we wisely handle our relationship with understanding.

The Bible commands us to dwell with each other with understanding. This is by honouring each other and realizing our different weaknesses. The Bible instructs us to see each other as heirs together of the grace of life; so that our prayer may not be hindered. This is because, if understanding is not brought into our relationship, our differences will always cause misunderstanding.

To love with understanding demands that we come to realize that we cannot change one another overnight (Luke 21:19). It demands that we correct one another in love (Ephesians 4:2). It demands that we prayerfully correct one another till our great change becomes visible (Proverbs 21:1). Then, our relationship will keep changing for good. Peace.

PRAYER: Lord, give me an understanding heart to grow my relationship.

“WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING, TWO WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WORK TOGETHER”
